The X-files I Want to Believe Soundtrack comes to CD and mp3 on July 22nd. Amazon is taking pre-orders and you can even preview all the tracks. Warning, Frank Spotnitz warns that even reading the track titles could be a spoiler. So if you are trying to stay spoiler free, don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Inkworks has updated their website with more info about the new X-Files trading cards.  The set will include 72 cards and will be released on the same day as the new film. There will also be autographed cards and other collectibles included in random packages.  Visit their site below for all the details. I’m not typically a card collector but I will be picking these up.

THR.com is reporting that Chris Carter has been busy shooting his second feature film in secret. The movie titled “FenceWalker” is described as semi-autobiographical and was financed by Carter. This will be his second feature film, the first being the soon to be released X-Files film.

CBR has an interview with Frank Spotnitz about the upcoming Wildstorm X-Files comic. Spotnitz reveals the comic unlike the film takes place during the series when Mulder and Scully are both still with the FBI. He also confirmed that the stories will be both stand-alone and mythology, the first one being a monster of the week story.
